§ I — Problem & Baseline

The operational challenge.

Documented Baseline State

The business was marketing wines across twelve independent estates with disparate label formats, disconnected sales collateral, and inconsistent visual presentation between wholesale catalogues and direct consumer touchpoints.

As Maison Vert expanded its distribution across independent retailers and luxury restaurants, its fragmented visual presentation undermined perceived house authority. Sommeliers and retail buyers viewed the company as an informal middleman rather than an authoritative, curated wine house.

§ II — Strategic Approach

How we engineered the solution.

We built an integrated brand system inspired by classical European cellar books and typographic print traditions. We developed an iconic house monogram, codified a strict typographic hierarchy, and designed a modular collateral system spanning print trade portfolios, shipping cartons, and digital assets.

STUDIO PERSPECTIVE // ARCHITECTURAL TRADEOFF

Systemic Tradeoff: House Authority vs Estate Individuality

“The core challenge was honoring the unique stories of small independent wineries while making the parent importer instantly recognizable. We solved this by treating Maison Vert as an editorial publisher: the house provides the dignified typographic binding, while each producer's cuvée is framed as a chapter in an ongoing collection.”
